This program is a four-week plan that features a number of advanced training principles designed to lean you out, increase cardio function and burn fat. That’s because, with its intense pacing and active rest periods, it’s partly a HIIT cardio routine — just one that also creates long/lean muscle.
NOTE: Stretching may not be the most exciting part of working out, but doing flexibility work is just as important as strength and cardio work for a well-rounded fitness routine. Incorporating some stretching exercises into your workout schedule will help you improve flexibility, reduce tightness, and ultimately, make your workouts more efficient and safe. As we age, our muscles get shorter and less elastic.
